Dr. Deepti Ganapathy, Ph.D, is currently full-time faculty at the School of Business Management, NMIMS. A visiting faculty at IIM Indore and IIM Bangalore’s Executive Education Program, she conducts programs for senior bureaucrats and policy makers, Government of India. A journalist, she is a Rotary Group Study Exchange Fellow, CNN Young Journalist Award-2007 finalist in the Asia-Pacific region, IAMCR 2016 Travel Grant Awardee, International Journalists Network ‘Journalist of the Month’ and received a highly commendable honour for Creative Writing from the Royal Commonwealth Society, London. Her research interests include - use of social media for political communication and governance; influence of media reports on climate change policy decisions; role of culture in organisational communication; reputation and crisis communication in organisations. She has ongoing collaborative work with scholars in Spain, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, China and the United States and is a Visiting Scholar at UC San Diego.
